I have been passionate about photography since the mid-1970s, transitioning to digital in 2006.

In 2010, I launched an online store, and since 2015, my work has been regularly featured in galleries. You can explore my fine art work on my Fine Art Website.

With 37 years of experience as an engineer and a decade teaching at Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering, I bring a unique perspective to photography. My passion extends beyond capturing images; I am equally fascinated by the technology behind the camera, post-processing techniques, and the art of printing. As an artist, I am committed to continually refining my craft and optimizing my creative processes.

Sharing my knowledge is a passion of mine. I enjoy mentoring aspiring photographers, delivering presentations to camera clubs and photographic societies, and teaching in more formal settings.

I offer one-on-one mentoring, group presentations, and classes tailored to your needs. Signing up for my newsletter is a great way to stay updated on upcoming courses, presentations, and other opportunities.

If you are not getting what you need from YouTube or feel stuck in a photographic rut, a tailored class or a mentoring session can help you advance to the next level.
